I'm experiencing no sound in game despite having the sound completely turned up in Odamex. I'm using .4, the r933 binaries and Windows Vista. I tried using Vista's Compatibility to make it run in XP SP2 but that didn't help.

Is there a way to fix this?

You can try the information given in http://odamex.net/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=482

This has to be an SDL(_mixer) problem.
