A major milestone has been hit in the wx Launcher development process. I don't know how regularly you guys check the wiki, but the Launcher now officially runs on all three major platforms natively. New packages will be coming soon, but for now you can always check out a copy of the svn repository and build it yourself. You'll need wxWidgets 2.8 or newer to compile it.

Ok, thanks...I'm a bit of a slacker when it comes to things like this, so I want to see if we can fix the problem I'm having with the Mac launcher not launching first before I go about downloading SDL.

You'll need wxWidgets 2.8 or newer to compile it.
I've just compiled it with wx 2.6.3.3 :P

I've just compiled it with wx 2.6.3.3 :P
Its been changed back to 2.6.3 for compatibility reasons. Alot of platforms (like linux and bsd for example) still use 2.6.3 it seems.

That's entirely dependent on the distribution, but I guess its a nice feature :)
