Title: Freedoom crashes at MAP30.

After I get the first key and enter the room with the rocket ammo, the game crashes. I don't know why this occurs. Is this a known bug? What should I do?

Crash with Freedoom 0.8 beta 1 when you see a baron is a known bug. You can download development version here: http://www.grandpachuck.org/files/odamex/builds/odamex_nightly_2013-03-04_r33709.zip
but I'm not sure if you can play online with it on 0.6.2 servers.

This bug was due to an integer overflow when calculating the length of a sound-effect. It was fixed a month ago and will be fixed in our next release.

which is expected to be...?

I don't like using nightly builds of multiplayer games because of obvious incompatibility.

Also, how long has this problem existed?
