let me ask, will there be Odasrv launcher aka GUI interface for configuring cfg file?
-
Have some patience... at least the client works atm...
-
Possibly, its an idea I've been toying with, I haven't started on it yet though because there are more important things to do at the moment.
Maybe if someone could throw something together using wxwidgets, I'll review it, possibly make some changes and will throw it in the repository.

I don't see why this can't be a part of odalaunch itself really. It is a launcher after all and not a client launcher. You're right that there are probably more important things to do at the moment but a separate app, to me, doesn't seem to be needed.
And for windows users, bond is currently working on ide support which launches servers as well as clients.

here's one by stasbfg for windows. he has thrown that to you to complete it :)
-
Only that's not very multi-platform.

While I appreciate the contribution, this has to be something that will need to be written in C++ and use the wxWidgets framework.
You've given me an idea of the layout though, I might put an interface together and post it up here.

I've seen Bond on a server called "Started from IDE" yesterday, so IDE with its launcher is coming soon I think.

Right now the community is in a state that most users are technology-able to do stuff the old way, and using odaserv's cfg as a point of entry for advance testing options.
But with time, there is change. I agree with Manc, I think any Odaserv CFG Editor of somesort, should be embedded within odalaunch itself.

Ive got an old copy of the zslite source somewhere... Borlands anyone :P?
-
Last thing we need is a server launcher with source coming from the zdaemon, lets be creative :D

I agree that this should be built into odalaunch
