Technical Support / Re: ZDoom-derived Ports & Mouse Information

I understand. Perhaps if such a thing were implemented it could give a greater advantage as opposed to the default setting, anyway, adding even more 'balance' variables to mess with. I was merely curious.

I'm interested in seeing if mouse response time can be improved despite the locked framerate. Is this possible?

I want to give Sean a huge thanks for taking time to figure this out, it's a very significant feat and a huge help to players like myself who like to have the same sensitivity across multiple MP source ports. Awesome stuff, and a very handy topic.

General Discussion / Re: Milestone Plan

This is the current development roadmap.  It's been a while since it was actually created, and things might have been shuffled around since then, but for the most part it should be accurate.

Is there a plan to update this in the near future?

General Discussion / Re: When is Odamex being released?

« on: October 29, 2006, 22:04:40 »
Unknown at the time, when a stable public build will be released. The dev team is still working on it and fixing various problems. It might be any amount of time until we see any type of playable build released by the dev team. Just be patient, it'll come! 8)

Technical Support / Re: Windows Vista

I know Chocolate Doom works on Vista, not sure about PrBoom. But I would be very surprised if all previous win32 programs stopped working, which would be the case if both wouldn't work in Vista. I'd be more concerned about duo core and vista compatibility, though.

Very cool to learn that this is THE Odamex CTF pack. I like it quite a bit.

So there's limited or no ACS compatability as far as scripting goes? Boom compatable isn't bad at all, just wondering in a bells-and-whistles mapping case.
