Example of srolling floor switch

I was trying to create a med bay station that works as close to the one in Chronicles of Riddick that I could.
The idea is to hit the switch, have the floor with the health packs scroll a bit, and put 1 health pack over the edge per flip of the switch.

The problem is that this works fine in ZDOOM 1.23 beta, but in Odamex it will only scroll North and East, and not South or West and the way my map is created, this needs to scroll south in order to work where I have it placed. 

I noticed that does not work at all under Zdoom 1.22, so maybe that is why it is screwed up under Odamex. 

I suppose I could work around this by moving my med stations all together, or by using a script alternative, but it would be nice if I could use this as it should be used.

This was done mapping under GzDOOM in Hexen mode btw.
