There should be some type of chat flood protection in place, but maybe not make it too strict. Maybe 2-3 messages per client every 5 seconds.

Right now you can set a chat bind and just hold the button down, delivering line after line of chat to the server at a very fast rate. Could potentially be used to lag or even crash a server.
