ODAMEX IS HERE!   
Odamex, the Free and Open Source multiplayer Doom Engine began back in July 2005 as idle talk, a dream if you will. Now, thanks to the dedication of wonderful, talented doomers worldwide, we proudly present version 0.1 alpha!  There are a few things to keep in mind, namely that this is ALPHA QUALITY software; this means that A LOT OF STUFF IS EITHER NOT IMPLEMENTED YET OR BUGGED OUT.  You will find however that Odamex is a pretty stable, cross platform application that aims to provide a top notch client/server experience while staying slim and trim.

Yay, Doom just gest better and better

Edit: bug found, the launcher dosent work right, it dosent seem to pass on the ip to the program

Just to nip this in the bud, there are proper places to report bugs, the forums are not one of them.

Also, PLEASE REMEMBER: This is an alpha, it is known to be bug ridden and incomplete.  Many bugs have been posted already, so it is worth your while to check them out first.

Nice. I tested out it with Rust, and found the shots to actually hit! Amazing! I'm a fan of Doom, so one more port will be great. I hope to see this port expand and go on to do great things. With shots hitting like an aimbot, I'm sure it will. ;)

just tested it few mins ago it is played as doom2.exe and dats odagreat...

but buggy too, hoping odamex will be still so authentic

also i cant connect to tyserver, why?
