Technical Support / Re: Odasrv launcher...

« on: March 29, 2007, 10:06:51 »
Right now the community is in a state that most users are technology-able to do stuff the old way, and using odaserv's cfg as a point of entry for advance testing options.

But with time, there is change. I agree with Manc, I think any Odaserv CFG Editor of somesort, should be embedded within odalaunch itself.

Developer's Corner / Re: New Scoreboards

« on: March 29, 2007, 09:56:41 »
I see that this topic is mostly equal on both sides, and thanks on the input, so how about instead of just changing the basic scoreboard from this toward that, and fighting over what players like what. That we make the choice up toward the player. Making the scoreboard customizable within the options menu. "Show Ping", "Show Ping Font", "Show Ping Color" ect. Or another solution is make a system were multiple different scoreboards can be chozen to suit the player's taste. Therefore keeping Toke's Scoreboards and opening a selection of tastes for the Odamex Community.

Developer's Corner / New Scoreboards

Ive seen the original scoreboard code written by toke, and which isn't half bad, but some visual errors come from it, with the small font, and all.

I would like to rewrite/modify this scoreboard to make the scoreboard a bit more sexy :) I would just like to ask the Odamex community first for their shot at this issue.

Technical Support / Re: Windows Vista

« on: January 19, 2007, 18:57:44 »
Im running a Microsoft Windows Vista Beta 2 Build (5384.4), and Odamex 0.1a runs perfect on it, just like it would on any other version of windows, but i do frame caution that the final vista build may have a few bugs. We will see when the time comes.
