Odamex runs and builds on 32 and 64 bit operating systems.
Odamex builds and runs on
- Linux with gnu/gcc/make
- OSX with gnu/gcc/make
- FreeBSD with gnu/gcc/nmake
- Windows with gnu/gcc/CodeBlocks (see Compiling on Windows with Codeblocks) and VC6, VC2003 and VC2005
- Vista with VC2005
- SPARC with gnu/gcc/nmake
- WINE with VC6
Odamex does not build on
Due to lacking SDL ports:
- PalmOS
- MS-DOS
Odamex depends on
- SDL
- SDL_mixer
