Fascinating.

I noticed people being unable to stifle their vague pronunciations, and kind of theorized that maybe something like this was going on, but until I checkd doomworld.com the other day I had no idea.

Odamex?

I've been lurking around. Got sick of the community in general but I'll never get sick of Doom.

Thanks for the nod, Slayer. I shall await the release with bated interest.

Lol. I'll reserve that judgement until after Odamex is fully functional and aqcuires enough of a following to go through a crisis or two.

It's always easier to protest an official response than it is to be the guys actually losing sleep and yanking out handfuls of hair in frustration trying to stem the latest disaster. Easier to tell someone else to turn the other cheek than to sit there taking punches with a smile.

I have pretty good feelings about the Odamex team, even ole carrot-top, and I'm prepared to give them a fair shake. Their arguments sound pretty good on paper [or maybe it's just the fabulous web design], and I'm all for the spirit of open-sourced development.

I'm also a big believer in human nature. ;p

=D

It's always good to have faith in me. Still, any support is good support, so I appreciate everyone sticking around while some of us study for exams and others work at their jobs. It's not exactly easy for most of us to dedicate much time to Odamex, but we can do as much as we can.

Glad you liked it. ;D

BTW, did I say "fabulous web design"?

I just did a routine bi-monthly search for "nitus", and the number three hit  - the only search result I've ever seen that was actually /me - was my Odamex forums profile page.

Zomg.
