Maps, Wads and Mods / Re: [TNT] Disaster Area (Duel)

Finally got around to checking this out. Its not bad! I personally don't like that there are military base, city, and red hell brick textures very close to each other. But overall the layout was pretty solid.

PS I ran around in sp and the hell knight scared the crap out of me.

Well, there is a small niche community that wants it to be alive, but there are currently no active developers for the port. If anyone wants to step up and continue improving Odamex, be my guest.

This looks like an issue with administrator rights for sure. It's trying to modify your registry to add the Odamex demo format as a recognized file type. As Hex suggested above, you can try grabbing the zip file and installing that way. It shouldn't require any sort of admin rights at all on a typical Windows install.

Odd. Maybe it has something to do with needing administrator rights. Have you tried the zip file install?

I've tried to download this multiple times, but the same thing comes up every time! I do not know how to solve this. I have tried redownloading the installer and I still get the error. This message comes up after the very last step; the actual downloading part.

I took a screenshot of the error message so you can see for yourself.

Big thanks to Manc for developing a new web site for us! As you can see, this new site is way more sleek and functional than the old site. All accounts are now integrated into one account, so you can make forum posts, bug tracker posts, and wiki changes all from the account you log into from the main site. The new site also incorporates our recent move to git instead of SVN, so browsing the source code is now easier than ever. You can also get nightly builds off the front page.

Please note that our wiki can still use some updating love. Ralphis is leading the way in this project so please get with him either here or on IRC if you wish to help him.

If you notice any site bugs or irregularities, please let us know here (but Manc thinks he got them all ironed out!)
