I just wanted to give a quick shout out to, Ch0wW, who has been submitting some neat little patches in his Git repo located here: https://github.com/Ch0wW/odamex. Thanks Ch0wW!

Hi:

I've never encountered this, but I will still try to help you. What pwads are you trying to load? The only case I've heard of heapsize being an  issue is when a wad is very very large (such as containing MP3s, or is not Odamex compatible) or when the computer running odasrv runs out of available memory.

Finally got around to checking this out. Its not bad! I personally don't like that there are military base, city, and red hell brick textures very close to each other. But overall the layout was pretty solid.

PS I ran around in sp and the hell knight scared the crap out of me.

This looks like an issue with administrator rights for sure. It's trying to modify your registry to add the Odamex demo format as a recognized file type. As Hex suggested above, you can try grabbing the zip file and installing that way. It shouldn't require any sort of admin rights at all on a typical Windows install.

Odd. Maybe it has something to do with needing administrator rights. Have you tried the zip file install?
